SPOTLIGHT: Movies in the Park 

Come out and enjoy great family movies on our giant movie screen for free in Dow Park! Make sure and bring your lawn chairs and blankets. The Citizens Police Academy will be selling concessions. The movies will start at dusk.

SPOTLIGHT: Crafts

Join the Deer Park Public Library for craft time! Materials to assemble crafts will be provided to children free of charge. A craft to accommodate children ages 5 to 8 and ages 9 to 12 will be available. 

  • March 17 at 3:30PM - St. Patrick’s Day Craft 
  • April 21 at 3:30PM - Earth Day Craft 
  • May 5 at 3:30PM - Mother’s Day Craft

SPOTLIGHT: San Jacinto Day Festival 

This year’s festival - to be held on Saturday, April 18 from 10AM to 5PM - will include four small re-enactments throughout the day. Walk into history at the San Jacinto State Historic Site, where you can see the massive San Jacinto Monument, explore the San Jacinto Museum of History and experience the San Jacinto Day Festival!

Bring the kids to the Sweet Rainbow Café and they’ll enjoy rainbow-themed décor, unicorn smoothies and more! The Sweet Rainbow Café is decorated with stuffed animals, pink unicorns, balloons and rainbows. Enjoy delicious smoothies, bubble teas, cupcakes and cookies.
