Q: When is the pool open?
A: The Dow Park is open beginning Memorial Day weekend of each year.

Q: When is the splash park open?
A: The splash park is open April 1st - October 1st of each year. Hours of operation are from 8 am - 8 pm CST.
Q: Does the Parks and Recreation Department have facilities available to rent?
A: The Parks and Recreation Department has multiple facilities that are available for rental. For additional information, please refer to the "Facilities and Parks" section on our website or contact the administration office at 281-478-2050.
Q: Are the fields at the Adult Softball Complex available for rent?
A: Yes. The fields are available to rent on days/nights when the City does not have regular league play. You must call and reserve at least one week in advance to reserve a field. Please contact the administration office at 281-478-2050.
Q: When will fields be available for rental?
A: Athletic fields are available for rent year-round subject to league play, maintenance time, and weather. Please contact the administration office at 281-478-2050 to get up-to-date availability.
Q: Is the Dow Park Pool available for rent?
A: Yes. Please contact the administration office at 281-478-2050 for more information.
Q: What time does Dow Park close?
A: Dow Park is open 24 hours a day.
Q: What kinds of activities do you offer?
A: The Deer Park Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages and abilities.
Q: How do I get a membership card?
A: Membership cards may be purchased at the Deer Park Community Center Front Office, Earl Dunn Gym, or Game Room.
Q: How do I schedule required community service with the Parks and Recreation Department?
A: The Park Operations division hosts community service on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month (subject to change due to weather and holidays.) For more information please contact the community service line at 281-478-7233.
Q: Do I have to be a Deer Park resident to participate in programs?
A: No, residency is not required to participate in the Parks and Recreation department's programs. We welcome any and all to come and enjoy our programs, facilities, and services.
Q: When will the grass in the park be mowed?
A: The Park Operations division mows parks on a regular basis. This is subject to change based on weather and season.
Q: Can I feed the squirrels in Dow Park?
A: The Parks and Recreation Department asks park patrons to please reframe from feeding wildlife. Feeding wildlife can lead to a number of serious problems such as aggressive behavior, unhealthy diets, and nuisance habits. Please respect their space and enjoy viewing wildlife at a distance.
Q: Can I drive my vehicle in the park?
A: No. Motor vehicles are strictly prohibited on park grounds. Please keep motor vehicles in designated parking lots and streets.

Q: How can I purchase tickets to a theatre performance?
A: Tickets for the Theatre performances may be purchased through the box office at 281-794-2448 or online at Art Park Players Box Office
Q: How can I register my child for the All-Star Activity Program (ASAP)?
A: The ASAP Program has limited availability. To find out if space is available or to be added to the wait list please contact us at 281-478-2050.
