About the Knox Box System

It is a high-security key box system designed to give fire personnel immediate access to locked building, elevators, electronic gates, and other secured areas.

Knox Box Installation

Each system from the Knox Company is shipped with complete mounting instructions; however, the Fire Marshal's Office can assist you in choosing the proper location for mounting. The Knox Box should be mounted 6 feet high and to the right of the front door. Once installation is complete, contact the Fire Marshal's Office to conduct an inspection and secure the Knox Box. Once that is completed, the Knox Box is ready to provide immediate access to emergency personnel 24 hours a day, 365 a year.
